REDISHAFT™
Redishaft™ allows for stackable integral wall and stair units to be set as one to minimize onsite labor, and to eliminate work items. Originally conceived for CEG Indy’s Deep Rock Tunnel Connector Pump Station, this design will significantly reduce onsite installation time, minimize onsite welding, and reduce or eliminate the amount of caulking between panels.
Integral stackable units allow for thinner wall sections than standard wall panels. Besides reducing overall weight, this allows for smaller main shafts, further reducing project costs. Elevator shafts would be similar without the stair sections installed. Redishaft™ can also be used to accommodate steel stair systems utilizing interior weld plates and side wall bracing.
Stackable Redishaft™ will be connected to each other using grouted splice sleeves (or weld plates). Redishaft™ is anticipated to be used in heavy civil and building projects including, but not limited to, mining, pumping stations, cooling towers, underwater constructions and maintenance, storm shelter access, underground geothermal installations, and above ground access chambers required by buildings and various site conditions.
Redishaft™ will be a superior installation relative to time and cost to standard precast and cast-in-place shaft-wall construction.
Redishaft™ is currently looking for production trade partners and end-use trade partners. Please contact us if your firm is interested in obtaining a license agreement for production of Redishaft™ or interested in using Redishaft™ on your project.
